I think this is the best story arc they have had in a long time. Sure, one could see some of the turnabouts, reversals, and red herrings coming, but it's still pretty good.

Looks like it reaches the pinnacle tonight with Gibbs and McGee both being accused of treason. Hopefully, it's not a bridge too far.

If they do a spin-off I hope they introduce new characters, because no one on Gibbs team can leave!!!! Tuesday night has become my favorite night for tv. I have even gotten my 12 year old into the show, and she is as hooked as I am. It has become our night together. We sit and watch NCIS and the Mentalist together. Family bonding over television shows...that's what America is all about. lol

No BdB, none of the team will leave for a spinoff. From what I've read, they'll introduce another team in the spring for a possible spinoff in the fall (I guess sort of like what we saw with the "new" people in this first season's episode).

However, I wish they'd try something a little different and not just do another Navy team.

How about Tony's ex (Jeanne-Scottie Thompson) in a medical drama??

Or, Gibb's ex (Hollis-Susanna Thompson) in an "intel" drama where her character is transferred to the CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, etc.?

Abby being implicated was beyond ridiculous. Mercifully they quickly popped the balloon on that farce, but that had me worried about them going too far by charging Gibbs and McGee with treason as per the previews, but Gibbs had a slick way out of that briar patch.

Lovin Vance as the new director. Gibbs and Dibozo on horseback was a hoot.

Just got around to watching "South by Southwest".

Absolutely hysterical when DiNozzo mounts the horse and it starts going around in circles, and he says, "Sheriff ? I think he lost a contact lens".
