I actually watched this time....I missed last season on purpose....I was getting tired of Ramsey's nasty ways....I don't condone throwing things at people and call them b*tches and fat a$$es......but I watched anyways.....there are 2 that look like they could win.....I don't know there names but one is a girl and the other is a guy......the rest are idiots....Colleen is the biggest idiot.....how can you charge $300 to teach cooking when you don't even have any education and are not a chef?? shakehead

I thought it was a decent start. The problem is there are too many chefs. You can't have 16 people (or 14 minus 2 in the dining room). It's just Fox milking a profitable show and extending it out. They should start with 12.

You can tell already who will be the first 4 or 5 to go. And they'll likely keep idiot Lacey around for comedy purposes, just like Matt last year.

But my favorite part, as always on the first show, is the sucker diners who show up and never get fed. News flash to LA. If you win tickets to dine in Hell's Kitchen on opening night, stay home! You're not getting anything but bread.

I like Top Chef much better. Ramsey is wearing thin on me and I would rather see a bit more on technique and less of a screaming Ramsey.

Have any of you gotten to see The F Word on BBC? I like it a lot, and I think what I enjoy the most is that you really get to see another side of Gordon. I like Kitchen Nightmares ok, but I enjoy Hell's Kitchen more. His yelling can get to be a little much but I think he just knows that there are people out there who can do it "perfect" and pushes so he can find that.

There are a couple girls and a guy or two I thought seemed pretty good. I was sorry he sent the guy home last night that he did. I thought the other one should have went. But since we don't see it all, I'm sure he knows something we don't. Lacey was on my nerves from the moment she opened her mouth. I can only keep my fingers crossed she's gone and quick! I also agree on Colleen being a real jerk. Heh 5 mins into the program and she's giving him a hard time on how he says her name, then basically tells him he's got no manners. Hehe good way to get kicked out before you even get a chance to show if you can cook. (Which I don't think she can)

I have seen The F Word on BBC and enjoyed it. It gave Ramsey a more "human" look and was enjoyable to watch.

I recorded it and watched it tonight. Last season, I only watched the last half of the season. So thought I'd give it another try, but I do agree Colleen is an idiot, OMG charging $300.00 to teach cooking with no education...

Don't know how long I'll keep watching, but I will continue to record it.

I had taped it and watched it last night, Lacey really should not be there. She is so Lost in the kitchen. Collen may not have many clients left when she returns to her teaching job. No one stands out right now for me as a favorite other than the African American (? I'm not sure of the heritage, her skin was a nice pale milk chocolate) There were a lot of first dishes that he liked, Will's was one of them but that didn't get Will very far. I think if Will had not nominated himself he might still be there but he made a crucial strategic mistake early on.

I'll be watching it on and off. Depending on how bad Ramsey is!
