...sort of. Kiss of death for the series: Booth and Brennan are going to get together. It sounds like in a sexual context. Rats! I liked them better apart with all the banter. I have concerns that once they hit the sack part of the on screen chemistry changes and the show goes down.

Oh the information comes from TV guide March 9-15.

Hmmm...I'd like to see them have a kiss, but they did that already for the DA lady. Beyond that, any true physical contact will mess things up, IMO.

I agree with the both of you, and they have been flirting with the issue more & more lately.

I just hope Fox stays to its word, and gives us 11 episodes in a row like its been advertising lately.

They have no choice, story wise, but to finally put them together. 4 full seasons of sexual tension and banter has to have a payoff. They can't keep up the pretense any longer.

And no one has said they become a couple, just that they sleep together in the finale. wink

I disagree with the idea that B&B "have" to become sexual. To my mind, that would be writers admitting brain death. Or worse, suits coming in saying, "I've got this *great* idea!!"

The supposed "sexual tension" of B&B has always been forced on the characters. And it's a damn shame, because both of those characters are better than that. I think the show has made them a good team, and it's convinced me that they respect one another. But neither one of them seem dumb enough to fall for the idea of lusting for one another.

It's not about them lusting for one another, they've fallen in love. Their chemistry is not forced on them, imo. Smart storytelling doesn't have to preclude a sexual relationship, either. It would be so great to see a show that can put a couple together and keep them together and lose nothing.

The writers cannot deny the characters attraction and feelings forever...not unless they want to force the characters into something they don't want and it doesn't work.

Well, francheeta, different eyes *do* see different things. I don't see any unusual chemistry in B&B, and I've seen nothing supporting a notion that they are "in love." I'd say they like one another, and care about one another's well-being, and working closely with someone typically engenders a kind of love. But all this is cut from a different emotive cloth than "falling in love."

And on a slightly different note, I don't know if it is possible to remove lust from "falling in love." To my mind, if a couple haven't fallen in lust, I'd have to doubt that they've fallen in love. But again, perhaps it's "different eyes...."

I think if it was lust than Bones would have already jumped on Booth. She has mentioned several times she sees no reason for a good sexual relationship without any strings attached.

I also think they are in love, but do not realize it yet since it is a very different situation for the both of them.

Thanks, Mangoness. The last 8 episodes or so have very clearly shown their feelings...at least to me and every article I've read, other boards, and my friends who also watch.
