Eliza Dushku has a Chris Brown/Rihanna relationship with FOX. They keep treating her so bad and she keeps coming back for more abuse. Let's take a look...

TRU CALLING (2003) - UPN was set to give Eliza Dushku her own Buffy/Faith spinoff but she got greedy and went over to FOX because they were the bigger network. However, FOX put the show on TV's toughest timeslot: Thursdays @ 8. FOX than cancelled the Season 2 after 6 episodes, and didn't premiere it till almost a year after the first finale.

NURSES (2006) - FOX put Eliza as the lead in the Grey's Anatomy ripoff and PROMISED her it was going to be picked up. However, when May upfronts came around the show was nowhere in sight. Another slap in the face.

Dollhouse (2009) - After giving the poor girl a development deal and promising they will give her a show (it actually took 2 years for them to make good with their promise) in a good timeslot (Mondays @ 8) they cast the show to Fridays @ 9. Ridiculous.

Eliza PLEASE don't go back to FOX. I would have loved her as the female lead of BONES opposite David Boreanaz. Would have been perfect.

I think she has a talent holding contract with FOX. So that's why she has been in a few FOX projects. I don't know how long it is, but if there's more to go, she'll probably get casted again after Dollhouse is over.

I have a feeling that CW is going to be cancelled in a year or two. It's making absolutely NO MONEY. Plus their budgets are super low. All of Echo's adventures would be IN THE Dollhouse. Reminds me of the Buffy episodes where characters are trapped in Buffy's House or the Magic Shop. LOL

None of the networks know how to launch shows anymore, every single new flops! I like how Eliza sticks with the Sci-Fi genre, but for her to have a successful TV career (so she can branch off into a big movie star a la Katie Heigl) she may have to do a crime drama ala CSI or something. I don't know. I want her to be a household name.

Yup, I thought it was for a few years too. The same happened with Justin Hartley and the CW, they have him in a talent deal yet they can't cast him in anything except for the Green Arrow on Smallville.

I can't wait for Eliza to get out of her deal with Fox, because seriously they are bringing the poor girl down.

It doesn't help she keeps starring in direct-to-DVD horror movies like the lame ALPHABET KILLER and OPEN GRAVES. I wish I was that girl's manager. She's making AT LEAST $75,000/episode on Dollhouse. 1 episode is more than enough for a YEAR RENT for a VERY NICE condo in LA. Not sure why she keeps doing all these lame movies. Does she even read the script?

I loved her in Bring it On she could have had a pretty good teen movie star after that. But she followed it up with The New Guy and Wrong Turn(I kind of liked this one).

Maybe she'll have better luck now that she's producing, which she is on Dollhouse and she's also planning a project about gay photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, to star her brother and producing partner Nate.
