cant help but say that i agree, but after watching the three episodes i was forunate enough to watch, i never realized heroin was such a problem. I guess i am writing this because i graduated from a very prominate high school less than 5 years ago....and i have been informed of many friends i would lie my life down for had over dosed on heroin, and more than that i have had friends' parents inform me about kids younger than me in my school buying their last "bag" at lunch one day, only to go to their cousin's
House and shoot it up.....only to never wake up again. This was a freshmen in high school. His cousin woke up in the morning only to have to tell his own parents his "best friend" was dead on the floor of his bedroom. I cant imagine how hard it would be to see someone you care about, dead on your bedroom floor when you first opened your eyes in the morning. After all of this....any publicity on these issues, i think is needed. I never knew how easy it was to get that stuff. I know plenty about other things going on in my old neighborhood, but never would have guessed that heroin has made it big in my little historical town. Basically what i'm getting at is that even though they didnt show a "big" bust........any amount off the street can help. Hell, my own parents had things "hook" their teeth into them....thank god it wasnt heroin, but still. If we can keep even only $100 of dangerous drugs off the streets, i think its worth it. And trust me, I am no saint.... i have experimented on my own....i can say these things with conviction.
