Can't remember the date so this is the best way for me to post it!

Eightly Seven pounds at home!!!! WoW! She looks great and oh so confident now. But poor thing is being overwhelmed with everyone talking to her about The Game.

It seems everyone is playing the "game" more this season or the producers are just highlighting it more. I like it better when its just everyone trying to lose weight.

I want to know how they got on those platforms in the first place?????

That was quite a scare that Ron had. Its amazing to realize that even though he is so limited in his ability to do things he has still Lost over 100 pounds in the House. Its a nice testimony that you can lose weight no matter how limited you are in your ability to move and exercise. But oh such a testimony for not going with the gastric bypass. Look at how it has messed up his insides.

I've always liked this team, the way they stick up for each other and esp. those first weeks when Ron pleaded for his son to be saved and now the son is protecting and pleading for the father. I know eventually one of them will have to go home but I want them both to get to the end.

Wasn't it so cool to see Ali???? She really could be the host of the show.

That weight in was brutal. I wasn't that surprised to see the weight gains. Changing the Work Out, the regime and probably the diet also just impacted the body for a weight gain this week. Doesn't say she wasn't trying but changing the routine the body is used to can result in a temporary weight gain. Plus if she was doing more muscle building with Bob, muscle weighs more than fat so gaining muscle may have helped in the temporary weight gain on the scale.

That vote was awful. it will also probably result in some fireworks next week between father/son and Sione/Felipe. How would you have liked being the final vote and everything hanging on you? yikes

I know that stress can effect weight loss, but does anyone know exactly how that works? I Lost 30 pounds year before last, then got really stressed out and ended up at a stand still. Now, I've gained it all back. frown I wonder how that works.

Phoenix, can I just follow you around and say, "yeah, what they said"? Lol!! I seem to agree with all your posts with this show. Even down to the tidbit about how Ali could be the host!! smile

RobLove2, you just tag right along and we'll have a great time discussing the show.

I think with our player, her body was trying to adjust to the change in routine and just hoarded more calories. Bodies will do that, its part of a mechanism to ensure the survival. That's why they say you have to exercise and diet to lose weight. If you just cut back on eating, usually the body just cuts back on the metabolism and you either stay the same or gain weight. The body fights for what it has come to see as a survival weight. Our lady in question didn't do anything wrong (probably), it was just her body this time. I still wonder if she didn't actually gain more muscle and that sank her. Or it could be that the training she did at home was more effective for her than the workouts at the ranch. She obviously found a way to make it all work at home and that is some thing to be celebrated. I'd like to see her come back as the Biggest Loser at home.

But then last week was not a good week for several people. Ron's can be explained, enforced bedrest for several days and the fluid--although I tend to think the fluid may have been eliminated partially through natural processes. Then there was hospital food.....not set up as what he was getting at the ranch.

Next week will be most watchable!

I am liking everyone except for Tara. During the vote and during discussions she had a smirk on her face.

The cousins were sending Ron a message. That he let them down last week and he could go this. Hopefully they will talk and make up.

I love the mom and the daughter that is left but doubt they will win. Tara will win I think if she stays in this.
