I cried in happiness for Tara for the first time ever when she finished the marathon. But, I bawled like a baby when Ron finished. LOL. With Ron, I think it was the first time EVER, in my watching shows like this, that I actually had the thought we've all heard a million times, "If they can do it, so can I." As many times as I have heard it, I have never experienced that feeling when watching someone. I got really close to it with Kristin when she finally decided that she shouldn't worry that it would all be taken away from her, and just realize that she IS worth winning The Game. But then, wouldn't you know it!, she got voted out the same show. *good grief!* But, Ron actually made me feel that way. No matter what anyone says about him, I really do like him. smile

I was SO hoping Helen would drop into the final 2, I generally fast forward through her parts, but that's how it goes.

Who does everyone hopes gets into the final 3? I am voting for Mike over Ron, though I like both. I think Mike has the best chance over Tara. Not that ANYONE is going to beat Tara.

I agree that I want Mike. I think he is the only one who can actually compete with Tara. Also it was so like Ron to spend his minutes talking to the voters to plead for his son. He started this show pleading that Mike not get voted off and he goes out asking that Mike be allowed to be in the final three. I also really, really admire that man for walking that marathon in spite of his health and the pain he was in. What a long time to walk and yet he did it; 26 miles! then all those people from the past shows were there to walk with him. yeah, that was a feel good moment. I do want to see the brother start to lose weight now. He has such support there now and really has to do it. If he waits any longer his health may be permanently impaired.

Mike and Ron are my Heroes from this season. I wonder if either have a Myspace or Facebook page. Maybe we can keep up with how Mike's brother is doing through that.

That would be so cool to see the progress of the brother and to see Ron keep his slow weight reduction. I wonder if he'll have surgery to remove the excess skin when he gets finished.

My brother has Lost around 200 pounds over many, many years. He looked into the skin surgery removal and it costs around $10,000. frown He will never be able to afford that. His health is so much better and that is the MOST important thing. But, that skin is sad for him, too.

I remember some contestant from BL had the excess skin removed and it totalled around 11 pounds!

RobLove, You were not alone in crying when Ron was finishing up his walk. One shot of Mikes face and I couldn't hold back anymore. You could just feel how proud he was of his dad and I felt proud for him. He wanted it so bad and I'm really glad he was able to do it.

I really liked the time that Bob took with Max while he was there to see Ron. I know Jillian was there for Mike, but it sounded to me like Mike was asking for her to tell him how to teach Max. With any luck, maybe the show will set them up with a good trainer to help Max after the fact. Or at the very least, Ron and Mike can find good trainers who can then help them help Max.

My vote will be for Mike. As you all feel, I think the only way either of them have a chance at it against Tara is if it's Mike over Ron. But I'm also afraid that Tara will probably win and that Mike will come in third. frown

I wonder if America picks Mike over Ron, would Ron then be allowed to compete for the at home prize? I think this is the first time I'd want to see the last person eliminated to actually win the at home. In past seasons I've always felt it was unfair to those who got kicked off early as the last person has the most benefit of the ranch.

I've seen a number of ppl, elsewhere, who have said they have voted for Ron to go to the finale, not because they like Ron, but because they don't like Ron and want to "SPITE" him over his wanting Mike there so much. I just don't get that. I mean, if you don't want to vote for someone because you aren't a fan of theirs, fair enough. I would never vote for Helen. If they want Tara or Helen to win, so they vote Ron through to give the girls a better chance, I can see that too.

But, to hurt Mike's chances (and these same ppl say they have nothing against Mike) solely because they dislike his father and want to "spite" him, who is only supporting his son because he LOVES him....

That sort of thing is just beyond my understanding. frown

In a way, if one most go, I hope it is Mikey so he can win the Biggest at-home Loser. Then Mikey and Tara don't have to go head-to-head. I want them both to be winners this year.

That's a cool way of looking at it. Do you think Mike could win the at home? I actually think I saw one person who said that that could be the plan. Mike gets a shot either way. I just got annoyed that most ppl weren't doing it for that reason. About 7 ppl came right out and used the word "spite".

I've only ever felt spiteful during Biggest Loser over Heba and Vicky last cycle.

Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing when Ron crossed the finish line? I've seen others ask too. I love it!!!
