As you know, I never thought of Adam as having a rock voice as much as a theater voice. He's more Ted Neely than Robert Plant. I mean that's ok -- I always liked Ted Neely, but . . .

Not loving Adam doesn't mean a person doesn't love rock.

Actually I am not older than dirt. I was young when Kiss, Areosmith, Queen, etc was out.

I liked their music, but after awhile the screaming gets old.

But, I will give Kudos to Adam....he is talented, but just way over the top.

I am glad I watched the show now...still not over but Carlos Santana was easily my favorite performer of the night...and I loved the little bit of Black Magic Woman Matt Sang with him...

I adore Cyndi Lauper and Allison so that was completely entertaining for me..

Adam and KISS was fun to watch...I was never a big KISS or Glam Rock Fan (I never disliked it...totally neutral for me) but everyone I knew was into KISS, Queen and Bowie so I am extremely familiar with the genre...I like it better now than when I was younger but I give them a 10/10 for a great stage performance.

Kris looked like he was having fun with Keith Urban...don't like country music at all so it wasn't my thing.

I believe as well as being a good singer, the person who becomes the Idol should be a positive role model. There is an obviously genuine friendship between Kris and Adam and there seems to be a total lack of judgement of each other's completely different lifestyles. For that, I believe they are both examples of wonderful human beings and therefore both represent what an idol should be. I imagine their friendship will continue for many years.
