Don't know why he is trashing Idol. Where would he be without Idol....

I love Clay's voice, but he has become an ass/diva. Which I am afraid has turned me off in buying any more of his CD's. I have the first one, and that is it.

I am not and have never been a fan of Clay so I don't really know the answer....has he had any hits? I heard he had done a Christmas Album.

I read this one, and was pretty disgusted with his negativity.

I wasn't watching yet when it was his Idol time, but know of him and have heard him. He's sure not anything special in my opinion. But he must have been someone's taste to get second place. I don't see where he gets the nerve to be so negative about something that put him where he is today.

I think he hit it on the head. I believe only the first AI was genuinely pure amateur, which I think it should be. He says 1-3.

This board itself only has about half the people on it since I came on. I thought it was because of my BS, but maybe others feel as I do.

I think Clay has made enough on his own to live comfortaably. Maybe 19 gave him a step up, but like Kelly he has pretty much made his own.

I like Dancing With the Stars better now. It is still mostly real.

I don't think even Kelly went straight from singing in the shower to AI if I remember correctly.

I think that Adam's musical style is just so different then Clay's that he found the music bad...that's all. It was not his taste just like some people didn't like Allison or Danny or whomever.

I do believe this is all about Clay vs Idol just like how it was Kelly vs Idol a while back.

I also feel that the first 5 seasons were about the "nobodies" making it, but that changed when they started letting those who had failed careers participate. I would rather have those who were unknown and couldn't of had the opportunity to even get a in the business. Carrie Underwood lived on a farm in Oklahoma, I severely doubt she would of made it...same goes with Fantasia and many more.
