I really loved this guy last year...better than any other singing contest competitor (except for Fantasia)...anyone else like him?

I remember him and enjoyed watching him. Never looked into what happened with him after the show though.

Good Question Amay...I would like to know too. I love his voice...I would buy his CD but I haven't heard anything about him...maybe I will check into it. I would love to see him in person as well.

Very nice, Bruce.

The problem for me is the show itself. I find it far too homespun and schmaltzy... far more than Idol. And some of the acts are utterly ridiculous.

We were big Eli fans and we definitely would have went to Vegas to see a show of his if he had won.

I agree with you 100%...I couldnt' beleive it myself when I was looking forward to it every week...the reason: ELI heart I caught him channel surfing singing Walking in Memphis and I was hooked...then I saw Nuttin But Strings...WOW! So...I ignored the smaltz crap and was happy I did..the final 20..10...5...extremely talented and entertaining...and...err...oh...did I mention Eli? biglaugh
