Just ok for me:

Kayla and Kupono....although I usually love Sonja's work.

Evan and Rhandi...but they were subpar with their shapes

Janine and Phillip....I agree with Mia, the weak use of the chain was distracting...I blame the choreographers for this sabotage. If they had only had another 5 1/2 hours of rehearsal time.

Caitlin and Jason...some good things and some bad.

Vitolio and Karla....it was a good number but they are the weakest dancers left....and Vitolio's sweating is offputting, poor guy.

Bottom 3 for me:

Vitolio and Karla, Caitlin and Jason, Evan and Rhandi

Buhbye Vitolio and Karla.

Again I missed some of it, so I can't comment on everything. I cringed when I heard Karla & Vitolio had quickstep, but they did it well--probably my fave quickstep on the show. But from what I'm hearing they may be the weaker couple this week.
I about cheered when I heard Melissa & Ade got to do classical ballet (although it does'nt sound so "random", but oh well). I also thought it was beautiful, but the demographic for this show is probably not really interested in classical dance, so they may be in danger.
We'll see what happens.

Really not that suprising who went home. I think Karla could have went so much further if she didn't get stuck with Wolfpack and then Vitolo.

I think a girl may win this season Jeanine's solo was really good.

Not surprised as well......as soon as I knew who was in the bottom....I picked both of those....it didn't matter how good their solos were....they were going home.....

So far.....Melissa & Ade and Janette & Brandon are the 4 best right now........Melissa is one strong girl......her muscle tone is amazing.......her and Ade are so amazing together......the ballet was beautiful.....and I think because those 4 are so strong, Kayla is having trouble getting the public votes........too bad she's in the bottom 3 but the others are so strong......

Kayla also seems to get odd dances the Brian Freedman one and then this one.

Once again Kupo sucked again in his solo, and frankly I think he brings his partner down. How many chances is he going to get? I hate when they compare him to Mark, because Mark was so much better & more creative.

Not a big fan of Vitolo, but he was better than Kupo.

Kayla didn't get Brian Friedman alien routine that was Caitlin. Kayla danced the Sonja vampire routine.

Karla's solo dance was by far the best solo with Janine and Phillip a close second to her. Kayla, Vitolio and Kupono rivaled for the worst with Kayla coming out just ahead(being the worst) of the guys(At least Kupono moved with the music even if it was only his little finger).

It appears that the producers of this show didn't learn their lesson last year regarding obvious pimping(I don't even remember the name of the dancer that Debbie Allen pimped). The voting audience doesn't like to be told who to vote for....and inevitably vote against the favorites to spite the judges.

That being said...IMHO...Kayla is way overrated.

The dancers that are starting to take the top spots with regularity are:

Melissa and Ade
Jeanette and Brandon

Following behind but ahead of the rest of the pack based on likable personality are:

Janine and Phillip
Evan and Rhandi

The rest are flotsam for this season that need to just float away a little at a time. Don't get me wrong...they are all superb dancers but not to the level of the dancers named above.

My top 8 are:
Melissa
Jeanette
Janine
Rhandi
Caitlin...because at least she has gymnastics abilities that set her apart from the other blonde, Kayla.

Ade
Brandon
Evan
Phillip
Jason...because he shows more passion and desire to be there than Kupono.

Will was Debbie Allen's overly-pimped protege' last year. I agree about Kayla. Sure she has talent, but she's not the dance goddess the judges apparently think she is.

I also am not a Kupono fan, esp. in his solos. I realize they don't eliminate only based on that, but his have underwhelmed me so far--I mean, you are thisclose to being sent home and that's all you can do?
