I was going to make a poll like this, but I see there already is one.

My vote goes to Marcia Cross, definitely the most intriguing, powerful character on the show. She commands the screen and is irreplaceable as Bree.

My second favorite is Nicolette Sheridan. Super sexy, viscious, and funny!

Bree - love her neuroses and her conflicts and her humor. Marcia Cross does a great job with this character.

I chose Susan but Marcia does do a great job as Bree. But then she had a lot of practice playing a nut job on Melrose place.

I voted Bree, last night was priceless when she was making the bed BEFORE taking Rex to the hospital for his heart attack! Too funny!

I found Bree's bed-making while Rex was having a heart attack to be more disturbing than funny. But that is what I love about this show, its off the wall unpredictable nature.

I just don't know what her reasoning was behind stalling to take Rex to the hospital. Maybe she was so upset with him she was hoping he'd die if she waited long enough. That is the only conclusion I can come to.

I'm getting a little annoyed with the pharmacist, I wish they'd find out he's a freak and making all this crap up and move on. It's so frustrating to watch this guy ruin their already shakey marraige.

I interpreted it as more of a control thing. Bree hates to not be in control. Rex's heart attack put her into shock and was something she had no power of, so she exerted power over the neatness of her home, something she could control.

It was a very powerful, and yes, disturbing moment.

Among the main female leads, my favorite is "Bree" Marcia Cross and I will be so upset if she does not win an Emmy this year. But, I have to say, a very close runner-up is "Edie" Nicolette Sheridan. She is a riot!! "Lynette" Felicity Huffman is very great as well. She needs an Emmy soon too. Just please don't give the Emmy to Teri Hatcher - nothing against Teri, but Marcia and Felicity are much better actresses.
