Does anyone else watch this on BBC? I like it 100x better than the US version...same producer (Mark Burnett)

Yes I've been watching it too.
I like it mainly because it has real (ordinary) people.
I don't care much for celebrity versions of things.
However, did Trump's version come first? It seems that his pointed finger for firing was copied by the Brit. Makes it seem more staged.
Oh, I was glad to see whats-her-name finally get kicked off. Wished the blonde had been kept the week before instead.
(sorry, don't remember their names yet)

I really prefer Sir Allen to Trump...he isn't such an ass and I am amazed at how well both he and the contestants articulate their positions...even the freaky annoying guy who was fired last week...I was surprised and really impressed at the fact that he knew his own weakness and had no problem with others pointing it out...

Is the Art Sale the last episode you watched? I get confused...i think this show has been on for awhile in the UK and we are just now getting it on BBC America...I would love it if they had 3-4 seasons under their belt and I could watch them all one after the other biglaugh

I do know Mark Burnett produces both of them but I would be curious to know which one came first?

Oh, I was referring to last weeks since I had recorded this week but not watched it yet. The woman I thought should have been eliminated earlier was Adele, and she tried to quit but Sir Alan Sugar recognized it for what it was. I hadn't liked her but I had liked the blonde she manipulated to leave the week before.

Anyway, last night I played back the Art show. Loved loved loved the light paintings. Is 6000 pounds about $3000 US? That is hefty but if the economy ever gets better, I'd be interested in getting some of their work (one of the cheaper ones though).
I was very surprised that the vast majority of the contestants did not seem to be 'into' art. In fact that one guy did not even have a favorite color! Unbelievable!
Until this episode I had rather liked Saira. But this type of product just isn't her thing I guess. She sure is a go-getter though. I think she will continue on for awhile.

The UK version seems shorter than the US one - oh, duh, yeah like 1 hour shorter!!!! Silly me! I would like to see more of the boardroom but there isn't anything I'd cut to get it. So I guess they are producing it the best they can.
It is interesting to see how they vary slightly from the US in how they throw each other under the bus in the boardroom. And I also noticed that Sir Alan did not feel the need to justify his decision to his cohorts (nor get their approval).

The last few weeks haven't been particularly interesting to me. And everytime he keeps Paul. yuck
Then we found out why - he said Paul reminded him of himself.
Finally Sir Alan wised up.
Bye Paul - glad you are gone.
But I really didn't see Jerry the same way the interviewers did.
I thought he should be in the final two with Saira (sp)
