IMHO, I don't think any of them are that good. They got rid of the girl witht the best voice, and dancers are a dime a dozen in Vegas.
The girl with the brothers is good, but get rid of the brothers.

vive la difference!!! Whomever is voting seems to agree with you. I think I'll stick to the British version... for some reason things don't seem as sentimental, contrived and cheesy there. The American version seems faked.

LOL! I never said I voted for them. I didn't. wink But yes, its true the British versions of almost all the shows we have in common are different. Just different tastes, I guess. (I'd give anything to live in Britain heart)

I agree about the dancers. I think some of the dancers are really good, but there are tons of them running around out there.

Next!!.....

Ah earth, I guess the classical/opera genre is way out of your league if you can't hear a classically training excellent singer (the one of the right) when he's singing right in front of you. He's a terrific singer. The one on the far left is good as well, I'm not sure if he's quite the caliber of singer the one on the right is...but he's also very good. The blonde is definately more contemporary... operetta/broadway, but he really does have a terrific high tambre tenor voice.

I think they are individually very good, but still not more time to mesh together and find their "whole voice". Do they absolutely need to sing in perfect balance all the time like your harmonizing R & B groups, absolutely not. Have you ever hear the Three Tenors? That's not opera. They sound different and they are supposed to. If you want to make an imformative comment about the Texas Tenors, then work on rounding out your musical ear.

Semantics, oh anonymous one.... there is a big difference between using the word "classically" with trained as an adverb and the genre of Classical music used as an adjective. If you feel you need to insinuate I don't know what the music is to strengthen your case... so be it. But you would be wrong. I actually would not argue that your tenor is "classically" trained (the adverb use)... that being said that doesn't make him sing to everyone's taste... or sing the classics for that matter.

I think they ROCK too Anon. They surely aren't everyone's cup of tea....but to each their own. But at least we don't have to endure watching someone fake eat lighbulbs.

i thought the texas tenors were superb. marcus may be gay, but he still sizzles. he has the sexiness of a porn star. and their voices are great.

nick cannon (mr. mariah carey)is the best host the show has had so far. he's good with all the talent--even the less talented--and he's funny. is he goofy? maybe. but isn't the hoff?
