I am sorry. I didn't like them. First of all they pandered for the vote with that song. Second.... perhaps it WAS the song but I was bored to tears.... and sorry, at least two of them are gay... I'd bet good money.

Sorry, I can't watch this show...I wait until almost the end to see who wins. Like Earthy, I don't care for Nick Cannon, I'll check in towards the end and see who wins. So for now I have nothing to add!

I liked Nick during the audition process but his goofy smiling is now annoying me.
I do want to ask though...what difference does it make if 1, 2 or all 3 are gay? They can sing rather well.

Trying to create a problem where there isn't one? naughty naughty.
Look at the original post. SHE was fawning over the blonde. I'm having fun. It makes no difference unless you make it so.

Not trying to create any problem at all Earthy - other than asking a question.
SHE can fawn over all the guys, or all the girls...nothing wrong with that. I don't limit my fantasy crushes based on sexual preferences. Thanks though, for clarifying for me.

Wow! You've got the BULLY right. There was a time that I found you were not this abrasive.....but in recent months I've certainly felt a different tone in your postings.

I don't much like your insinuations either so let's agree to disagree.

I think they're gay too. Everytime O flirts and mentions the ladies, the blond one has this "Oh, my God" expression. Tonight after the goateed one said the ladies loved the blond, they all burst out laughing. The one with the beard is always hugged up on the blond. Then the goateed one said "We have a lot of fun together and we think it shows." Then they started grinning like it was some inside joke.

no they really do not sing "rather well" they actually sing rather poorly. They do sing rather well into the microphone though, if you know what I mean :groucho:

Wow, you are a retard! That makes them gay? They are laughing because they get more ladies then you have met. I bet your one of those guys who calls all attractive men gay because you can't contol your bachne!!!
This is too ridiculous. I have known John (one of the Texas Tenors) for years. FYI, he is definitely NOT gay..for what it matters, I do not know. He is a highly trained, incredibly talented and experienced classical singer. You do not seem to understand music at all...or people for that matter...

It really is so good for you to defend his honor because we all know how bad it would be to be gay.
Welcome Jazzcat. I am glad you like your tenors. Personally I find pretty much everything about them hideous... but everyone has their own thing.
By the way.. what a great show if all that is being talked about is if some over-hyped singer is gay or not. Sorry I started it so long ago... but I was kidding... you know... a joke?

Agree Bl...about registering. Now, to the Tenors...3 weeks in a row I missed seeing them so I can't comment. Next week, I'm going to DVR the show, so I will see them for myself
Meantime, what do you all think of Grandma Lee... I just can't see her doing a show in Vegas, but she is a kind soul.

if no one cares, why reply to every one of us? hahahahahahahahahah
Maybe my name IS anonymous. Aren't we ALL anonymous out here in cyberland, or do we all have to comform to creating a name and spending every waking moment conforming to unanonymous posters? If the forum demands we make up clever names and jump for joy every time we reach another level of posting glory, then it would not allow us to hit S E N D.

I saw the tenors for the first time this week. I thought they sounded pretty good. And I, too, thought one was cute. I liked the guy on the right who was in blue. I don't know any of their names.
I love Grandma Lee and Kevin Skinner the best though. Kevin is from about 15 minutes from where I grew up. He's practically a hometown boy!

You are absolutely right...my apologies for making it sound like being gay would be a bad thing. We are talking about 3 guys who love to sing, and have exceptional talent. When it happens to be someone you know who FINALLY hits the big stage, after years of struggle, it is disheartening to hear all the negativity...like 'hideous' (a little strong, maybe?) being thrown their way. I know it is hard to adjust one's ear to classical music when all most of us hear on the pop stage is so marginal...but these guys really ARE good!

No. I think they're over-exaggerated, and cheesy. Hideous is how I would describe them, personally. They sort of make me wince in pain. By the way... I love classical music. This is not classical in the least.

vive la difference!!! Whomever is voting seems to agree with you. I think I'll stick to the British version... for some reason things don't seem as sentimental, contrived and cheesy there. The American version seems faked.
IMHO, I don't think any of them are that good. They got rid of the girl witht the best voice, and dancers are a dime a dozen in Vegas. The girl with the brothers is good, but get rid of the brothers.

LOL! I never said I voted for them. I didn't. But yes, its true the British versions of almost all the shows we have in common are different. Just different tastes, I guess. (I'd give anything to live in Britain )

I agree about the dancers. I think some of the dancers are really good, but there are tons of them running around out there.

Ah earth, I guess the classical/opera genre is way out of your league if you can't hear a classically training excellent singer (the one of the right) when he's singing right in front of you. He's a terrific singer. The one on the far left is good as well, I'm not sure if he's quite the caliber of singer the one on the right is...but he's also very good. The blonde is definately more contemporary... operetta/broadway, but he really does have a terrific high tambre tenor voice.
I think they are individually very good, but still not more time to mesh together and find their "whole voice". Do they absolutely need to sing in perfect balance all the time like your harmonizing R & B groups, absolutely not. Have you ever hear the Three Tenors? That's not opera. They sound different and they are supposed to. If you want to make an imformative comment about the Texas Tenors, then work on rounding out your musical ear.

Semantics, oh anonymous one.... there is a big difference between using the word "classically" with trained as an adverb and the genre of Classical music used as an adjective. If you feel you need to insinuate I don't know what the music is to strengthen your case... so be it. But you would be wrong. I actually would not argue that your tenor is "classically" trained (the adverb use)... that being said that doesn't make him sing to everyone's taste... or sing the classics for that matter.

i thought the texas tenors were superb. marcus may be gay, but he still sizzles. he has the sexiness of a porn star. and their voices are great.
nick cannon (mr. mariah carey)is the best host the show has had so far. he's good with all the talent--even the less talented--and he's funny. is he goofy? maybe. but isn't the hoff?

They definately are NOT gay. John dates my sister in law and sang at my wedding. Everyone thought he sang beautifully, and he truly does have the most gorgeous eyes.
