I was also wondering the same thing. A;so when does Project Runway start?

Last season we got to watch Top Chef at the same time but if they go back to the old way it will be 5 or 6 weeks.

Some very interesting characters, and I am glad the girl with the freaky ears was the one to go. I like different, but I was freaked out every time I looked at her.

I like how Gail tries to be blunt, and then flat out says the harsh truth.

I think Project Runaway start, here in Canada, on September 12, on Slice.

I just caught it by chance on ?????(forgot what day I saw it. lol From what I gathered it will go back to its regular day next week. Still fun but all the chefs just blur together right now. They all seem so much more experienced than previous seasons. I like throwing the less experienced chefs into the mix. Almost too many folk this time. I can't get a good idea of any of them at the moment.

I don't have any picks right now, but there seems to be some pretty good cooks from the looks of it. Of course 3 or 4 weeks into things and it could all change. I do like that some of them seem to know the show though and have an idea what is ahead of them, best you can in a show that is always putting in twists and such. I don't think they should have given out such a huge advantage with the first quickfire, I mean she did ok but when it came to her main dish she couldn't even get it all on the plate.

Usually they give a tongue lashing to the immune if they do such a terrible job. Probably lack of time since there are so many of them.

Do you think the brothers will go far? or one will be out pretty quick?

I get the feeling Tom is hoping the brothers have a pretty long battle between the two of them. They both were front runners this week. I don't know though, I think in the end, the one who says he's more of the risk taker will end up being there longer.

Rats, just when I start to have a few favorites, one of them goes home tonight! Poop! I thought the woman paired with the other guy should have gone home. But cool for the gentleman who won the quickfire challenge to sit and eat with all those French chefs. I've never been a big fan of French cooking; its all the sauces. the thing that seems to make French cooking stand out, I am not interested in taking the time. Now I love Italian cooking. Simple, vegetables, good use of herbs, fish and pasta.

Looks like Padma is struggling with a cold or Lost voice. Noticed Tom did the quickfire challenge.

The guy that went home was interesting, but I did not see him as top 5 material.

I'm really liking the guy who won the quick fire. He seems very down to earth and humble when he wins.

Someone at the Bravo board is doing a homegrown scoring system on the chefs thus far. I think he is about right on with the top 4:
SEASON 6 STANDINGS THROUGH WEEK FOUR

1. Jennifer C (12 points, last week #1)

2. Michael V (11 points, last week #2)

3. Kevin (9 points, last week #3)

4. Bryan (7.5 points, last week #5)

5. Michael I (7 points, last week #6)

6. Eli (5 points, last week #4)

7. Ron (2 points, last week #7)

8. Robin (-1 points, last week #10)

9. Ash (-2 points, last week #8)

10. Mattin (-2.5 points, last week #9)

11. Laurine (-3 points, last week #13)

12. Hector (-4 points, last week #11, eliminated this week)

ELIMINATED: Jennifer Z (-4 points)

13. Ashley (-6 points, last week #12)

ELIMINATED: Preeti (-8 points, last week #15)

14. Jesse (-9 points, last week #14, eliminated this week)

ELIMINATED: Eve (-9 points)

I give Jennifer good odds - she is so consistent and competent. Between the two brothers - Michael gets it. Kevin is right up there too.

I was hoping the woman would get the boot this week, but our cute little french got it instead. I just loved how giddy he got for the quick fire challenge.

I have to admit this outside wagon truck cooking was one of the toughest challenges I have seen them do.

Kind of bummed that Kevin did not make the top 4 best meals.

I was really hoping to see Hector do well. At this point, I'm rooting for Jennifer.

That said, I'm a bit bored with this season, I would love to see more Top Chef Masters.

Welcome Savory!

Which is your favorite culinary show? Personally, I enjoy Top Chef and anything with Bobby Flay.

Kevin and the brothers are cleaning up this season. They all seem to want Robin gone, but she's still there. I'm really liking this season.

Kevin is my fav. I've liked him since the second week. I'd like to see him win, but he probably wont. Most of the time my fav. doesn't make it past top 4.

Unless Kevin makes the biggest blunder ever.... I do not think he is going anywhere.

Robin is pretty bad, and not one thing she has made has been appealing to me. With that said.... someone always does a bit worse than her, and they seem to stick to the plan of who did worst that week or day. I think its a bit of Karma too since they were pretty mean to her for awhile, and thats coming back to bite them in the you know what.

Wouldn't surprise me if that especially bite's the younger brother in the butt next week.

Eli might have fought with her, but when it came down to actually working with her.... he put his grudges aside & worked with her.... whereas others have tried to sabotage her in some way or take over her job.

I am getting bored of the show. I think its the best cooking type show, but I am losing interest in a lot of reality shows in general.

I will watch it until the season ends, but its doubtful I will add it back on my list for the next season.

it seems like it will be Eli or Jenn next. I think it will be very difficult to watch one of the brothers picked over the other.

Yeah but I am so over woe is Jenn. She's picks on herself so badly, its no wonder she has lasted this long. I think she is a good cook, but not necessarily good tv. Like I could never see her cooking food with her own show, week after week.

Never seen someone so terrified of Tom talking to them before. Run! Hide! Be a Baby! Wah!

Kevin Rules!

Last night was emotional for me. Not sure why Eli crying made me cry with him. He's never been much of a sympathetic character.

On the other hand, this season seems to have much more gravitas than previous seasons, so more meaningful? Better chefs in the final 4, chef/judges seem to get more accolades (are they really higher end food people, or have they all discovered the marketing potential of this show and pushing their credentials?)

Eli felt like the right choice.

I wonder if Bryan ever considered a job in radio broadcasting. What a voice!

Kevin is still my #1 choice for winner. He has yet to do one thing that I haven't liked seeing. He seems like a nice guy and a good person and I think it's great that Brian is a good guy. He really could have left Kevin hanging without helping him but he was smart and knew it wouldn't hurt him in any way. It is funny to me how opposite brothers can be, though I've seen it my whole life. Mike is really so much about himself that I think he'd even run over his own brother if it was the difference between second or third.

I'm watching every week, enjoying every Kevin win (though this week did surprise me just a little, I thought they were going to give it to Brian.) Jen will go this week coming and then final 3 will be a war I think.
