Not surprised after reading the reasoning behind Melissa's win vs. Jeffrey. She appealed more to the base of watchers that Food Network wants. But I do hope to see Jeffrey somewhere in the lineup. I would like watching his show. I'm not a member of the base that food network wants to grab so I probably won't be watching her show.

I saw an advertisement for Melissa's new show, ten dollar meals or something like that. I believe it starts tomorrow in the afternoon.

grumble, mutter, grumble still would have preferred Jeffery's type of show with a new and interesting ingredient each time mutter, grumble, mutter

I liked Melissa and am glad she won... however when we saw that taping for her show, I found her to be very annoying, lol. I don't think I could watch a full episode. Still wish Debbie or Michael had won!

I watched an episode of her program. She is much more polished but it didn't hold my attention. it was on Sunday at 12:30/1:30 depending upon time zone. I only found it because Food Network advertised it. According to my list there was a different program there but I set it to tape and I got Melissa. It called something about $10 for four. Its definitely geared towards the housewife on a budget. I would have enjoyed Jeffrey's show much better.
