I really, really wanted to like this show, but the jury's still out. I'm hanging in there with it, but in my mind it seems to be floundering (or foundering? which one is the right word?) a bit as it tries to find its way. And I can't help but feel that it's trying to be "
Lost," and we really need only one "
Lost." I'll stick with it and hope it gets more consistently good. It certainly has its wow moments, but they're few and far between.
And, I can't for the life of me figure out why the alcoholic doesn't just say he was working late, dozed off and came to for about the last 30 seconds of his flash forward. Probably wouldn't advance the plot points they want to develop, but it sure makes more sense that bewildering silence!
