This is going to be snarky, even for me. Sorry folks, but this season is giving me fodder and I am not the kind to sit buy and idly NOT say the nasty things that come into my head.
Who's dumber, Shambo for losing the chicken or Russell for putting her in charge of them? Seriously, she didn't help win the darn things, she's on the outs with the tribe, is a bit of an odd duck (ha) and ended up channelling Mr. 'God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly' Carlson from WKRP. Russell expressed contempt for her for not knowing this. I submit that as a tribal leader, he's dangerously clueless.
Like being surprised that there is an almost-everyone-except-him alliance on Galu.
Of course, Shambo may not know chickens, but she also doesn't know survivor. Knowing where the HII is is power. Finding it is more power. Handing it to someone else and then saying 'your bad if you screw me over' is just plain...
Yasmin - I love the logic that if you don't do any work, no one can criticize you for doing it wrong. Brilliant! Almost as good as the grammar that got my eight year old to ask 'why does she talk like that?' "I have did everything I was asked." Please, it's a game of stepping up, not following and obviously one of the thing she was asked was not to attend English language classes. Nice shoes though. Byeeee.
Reward challenge - Dave (is that his name?) my new fav. Thrilled on the inside, playing it cool on the outside. But his facial expression of shock and delight was priceless when he won the challenge. Too bad Russell was there with the 'in-your-face' pointing and cheering.
Where was Jeff for this challenge? And how cool was it that they had to figure it out for themselves. I wonder how long they really stood there. Also interesting that they worked completely separately rather than all six coming together to figure it out.
RussHell - he still thinks he has control, and now his alliance is just him and Natalie. The one he calls dumb. Nice to see her showing what got her cast in the confessionals. Nice body.
Monica - who? - on Galu did a credible job taking the noose off of her neck for losing them the challenge on the rope bridge. Making it about who contributes at camp - the the tribe - was brilliant. Russell also showed at TC that he's
Lost control of the hearts and minds of his tribe. He said it was all about winning challenges and the rest falls into place. That doesn't explain why he picked comfort over practicality at the last reward. And I believe that was the decision that ultimately will cost him leadership and
The Game. He went with being popular with the hot cute chicks, not doing what was right for the tribe. And judging by the previews, they're all about to discover that pillows cannot deflect a monsoon.
I have to admit this season is making me look forward to All Stars 2.5; because I am tired of watching people who cannot play
The Game.
I believe we're telegraphing Jaison's inability to deal with the physical conditions and that next week he may Osten out. He's complaining to RussHell aready and it has not begun to get hard. He says it's the worst decision he ever made 'coming here for adventure.' What, is this season one? Here's a clue, if you haven't ever watch the show - get on line and check out any one of the 1,000,000 web sites that will let you know what it is really like.
Keeping the flaming alive...
