Galu day 12.
Erik is washing and getting tossed around by the waves.
He calls the ocean angry and fickle.
Foa, day 12
Ashley wonders if there's a hurricane out there.
Mick brings treemail.
Liz realizes it's the gross food challenge...wonders if there will be Samoan rat in there.
Ashley is looking forward to it since she's an experimental eater.
Liz tells ER that she's worried about Ashley with the challenge. He tells Liz he's worried about her. Then goes off and tells the guys about it.
So now Liz is his target. She's playing mind games, and he has to be the only one playing mind games.
RC:
Eat a samoan smoothie...done rouillette style. Ball lands on an ingredient, it gets added to the smoothie.
Kelly, Laura and John sit out for Galu.
Reward is good food...meat mostly. One member from the winning tribe spies on the losing tribe and misses the reward.
Shambo and Jaison up first. Giant clam and Jeff's choice, which is octopus and sea snail...I can smell it from here, and it's NASTY.
Both Jaison and Shambo keep it down. One point each. First to five wins.
Next up, the Russells. Jellyfish special.
I can't even watch this.
Russell downs it, ER spits it up. But finishes. Tied at two.
Brett vs Mick. Giant Clam and Sea Cucumber, with milk.
Jeff's descriptions make me ill. Mick finishes. Brett struggles...but finishes. 3-3.
Monica vs Liz. All sea urchin. Monica throws it back, Liz takes her time and plugs her nose. Monica scores and so does Liz.
4 all.
Ashley vs Dave. Sea slug guts. With water to keep it clear. Barely blended.
Dave gags. So do I. But he finishes. Erik taunts Ashley. And she can't finish.
Galu wins.
Shambo gets elected to go to Foa again, and she tells Russell that it's not very fair, that he should spread the joy. After she goes, he says she needs to pay for the chicken she Lost last week.

Shambo doesn't need a damn steak...she'll take a group hug.
Mick feels like Ashley's not pulling her weight, that she Lost the challenge for them.
Ashley's disappointed in herself. Natalie is trying to boost her spirits.
Galu, day 12.
Russell tells the tribe that Shambo has to suffer the consequences for losing the chicken, but now the slate is clean.
Everyone is ready to eat, but Dave complains that Russell is messing up the fire.
Dave tells Russell how to do the fire, and Russell tells him that he's all talk and no action. Russell says he doesn't need suggestions, he needs help. One of the girls tells Dave that if he knows how to do it, to just do it. Dave says he has to wait to be asked.
Pissing match. Finally, Dave starts the fire.
Dave tells us that he has to downplay his awesomeness. Okay dude.
Back at Foa, Sham shares the clues to the HII with the whole tribe, because they're more of a tribe to her than her own.
Sham is sure that Ben got kicked out with the HII. Liz is sure that ER has it.
She confronts him. He insists that he's being honest and then says "do you want to be the one to go next? You're walking on thin ice!"
This is why I can't stand him.

Foa day 14
Jaison is convinced the tribe is at a serious disadvantage.
His hands are ghostly white. And he wants to get out of there.
Since they're all cooped up in the shelter, they opt to just vote at TC and see what happens.
Ashley will vote for Liz because she doesn't trust her; Liz will vote for Ashley as the weak link. Mick thinks the guys will vote as a block.
ER is bummed that he has to stop his strategy because of The Game. He doesn't want to keep Liz because she's onto him, but Liz is stronger than Ashley.
TC:
Jaison asked to finish the sentence "until Survivor, the toughest thing I ever did was..." he says play water polo for the US national team.
Ashley asked if coming to TC was welcome because of the fire and cover from the rain.
Mick says it's tough to scramble when they're stuck under the shelter.
ER asked if the voting criteria changes when you see what you have to go through. He says it comes down to who he can trust.
Ashley asked who she trusts. She says she trusts ER and Natalie the most.
Liz asked, and she says she trusts everyone. She's be surprised if she goes.
Mick asked how the tribe would be better when they go back to camp. Maybe more organized, maybe stronger physically.
Jaison agrees.
ER asked if he likes the feeling that it's so up in the air going into the vote.

Ashley voted out. I'm just glad it wasn't Liz.
Next week: The storms continue to batter both tribes and another castaway goes down.
Ashley voted for Liz, everyone else, including Natalie, voted for Ashley.
And this concludes my monologue for the evening.
