I thought Kelly's jitterbug was a bit dull.

Kelly and Louis jitterbug for us.

To overcome her fears, Louis takes her to trapeze school. She freaks out...and does it.

She's cute...but sometimes she looks like she's having fun, and in the next moment she looks like she scared sh!tless.

Her kicks aren't very high..nice flip in there...

Good, but not great.

CA: You got your sense of fun back, but when you prepare for the worst, sometimes you bring it with you. Stay in the happy place.

L: I know you were trying to protect your sprained ankle, but it was a bit flat footed at times.

B: It was cute, it was nice...but you have to ignite the performance. Sell it, become the character.

Samantha thinks Len's happy pills wore off.

Scores: 7-6-7. I don't think the 6 was accurate.

Double elimination works this way:

Couple with the lowest combined score goes home. then the next two lowest scoring couples do the dance off, and the couple that receives the lowest judges score goes home.

Oy.

Louie and Chelsie have a jitterbug.

She wants to apply some of his snowboarding skills to dancing.

His feet look good tonight! Nice use of tricks.

Amazing backflip!

I think he looks really good tonight...this is a hectic dance, and he can do hectic.

L: Parts of that were fantastic. I love your enthusiasm...but there were some bits where you lose your energy.

B: You went all whacko, which suits this dance, but you lose the precision.

CA: I loved this dance. You brought the energy. But you dropped your partner twice, and that's not acceptable!

Scores: 7-7-7.

Joanna and Derek are up with a waltz.

Joanna's struggling with maintaining the frame.

Nice costume.

Looks elegant. But she doesn't thrill me.

B: it was like watching a butterfly gliding across an alpine meadow.

CA: Your lines were beautiful, but it was like you hesitated a lot.

L: Your footwork wasn't too brilliant, but I loved that you went straight into the dance and your posture was great. Best waltz we've had tonight.

Scores: in exactly 60 seconds. so I'll wait.

Scores: 8-9-9.

Donny and Kym have the last jitterbug of the night.

Donny's getting beaten up by the lifts and tricks in the jitterbug.

Donny & Kym take time out to teach dancing to a group of disabled people. And everyone looks like they're having so much fun.

They come out strong, very high energy.

This is right up Donny's alley. But I have to say, the costumes are the ugliest thing I've seen tonight.

That was so much fun!

CA: You guys know how to work a room! But you have some weird little nicks, and you had a few moments being out of sync.

L: There was a little stumble, but really entertaining.

B: It was a little like a steam engine trying to keep up with a bullet train, but always entertaining.

Scores: 8-8-8. Sounds about right.

And when Donny realizes they still have the mambo, the fear comes into his face.

Donny's dances are always entertaining. He has a go-all-out personality.

The marathon should be interesting.

Competition Mambo. First one out gets two points, last one standing gets 10.

Karina's wearing the Big Bird costume.

First couple out: Michael & Anna. 2 pts.

Louie & Chelsie next. 3 pts.

Melissa & Mark: 4 pts.

Kelly & Louis: 5 pts

Mark & Lacey: 6 pts.

Donny & Kym: 7 pts. Gypped!

Aaron & Karina: 8 pts.

Mya & Dmitry: 9 pts.

Joanna & Derek: 10 pts. I didn't think Joanna was that good. She'd be toast without Derek.

The judges each need three sets of eyes to judge the marathon. If nothing else, the marathon makes it more likely the best dancers will escape being surprise members of the bottom two.

Please tell me if anyone else is having this problem. I vote on my phone just fine. But when I go online, I am logged in, I even re-log in if necessary. I "immediately" vote, and it says...

"We tried to wait for you, but need you to log back on to finish making your picks. Thanks!"

So, I try again by re-logging in. No matter what I do, I can't cast a single vote online! This happened last week too. But in all the weeks prior, I never had any problem. And it does say I am logged in. Damn! gripe
