Off to Amsterdam.
The earliest flight leaves at midnight.

Globes @ 4:20pm
At the airport, Sam & Dan come out. Gary asks if he should tell Matt he's adopted now.
Brian can't figure out how to work the car at the airport. He gets snippy with Ericka, and she gives it back to him. "You dictate my mood and you know I have a shorter fuse than you!"
The globes says if they don't know anyone's name on the race, they know Brian's because they've heard a lot of "BRIAN! BRIAN!!!"
At the Martinitoren, RB:
Climb the stairs, count the # of Bells (62)
Meghan and Sam? do RB.
Matt and Flight time? do RB.
Tiffany does rb.
Ericka does RB.
Meghan and Sam worked together, but Matt finished the RB first. Off to a windmill.
Sam and Meghan finish next.
Sam tells Tiffany the answer. Meghan hears him and reports back to Cheyne. He's not thrilled. So Sam says "I got nervous!"
Tiffany finishes.
Flight time finishes.
Ericka does not...she's 19 bells short.

Ericka grumbles that Brian should've done the rb.
Detour:
Farmer's game: don traditional costume and ride a bike to location. Strip down to undies, swim across a creek and play 3 rounds of golf and make par or less. play until you win.
Farmer's dance: same costume and bike ride; Ring a bell, learn a dance, eat some herring to get clue.
Sam/Dan and Meghan/Cheyne do game, Gary/Matt do dance.
Ericka is up to 56 bells.
San and Gary look ridiculous as they're in the women's costumes.
Maria/Tiffany do dance.
Ericka is up to 57 bells. And she's looking haggard.
She goes down to Brian in tears.
Sam/Dan finish detour. Off to the pit stop.
Meghan/Cheyne can't get the hang of golf.

That was just embarrassing that they couldn't finish. I can't believe Brian/Ericka survived after being likely hours behind from the roadblock and then taking a much slower way by walking at the detour.

Ericka has Brian reread the clue, and they realize they should be on bikes. Ericka whines about how hard this is and yells at Brian "at least you could be compassionate!"
Flight Time and Big Easy team #3.
Ericka yells at Brian some more, and he says "I know, my knee hurts too." and she says "I don't give you any credit for that."
Gary/Matt team #4.
Maria/Tiffany switch back to golf.
Brian and Ericka start dancing. And then they eat.
I can't even watch that part.
Brian and Ericka are the 5th team to arrive...but they have the 30 minute penalty for not riding the bikes to the detour.
Ericka cries and whines the whole time.
They're checked in as team #5.
Maria and Tiffany realize they're toast. Phil comes to greet them in the field. They're Philiminated.
Next week: Teams ahve a "blast" in Stockholm, and the race returns to the haybale challenge from Lena & Kristi's season.

Seemed a bit unfair that the road blocks needed a bit of muscle to complete them (which the girls could not do)...normally I would be like "that's kinda unfair" but since I didn't care for the team I say nothing

Brian & Erika got really lucky this leg! Brian was really supportive of Erika at the bells...telling her to take 5 etc. I felt really bad for Maria & Tiffany...I think if they had stuck with the golf (and not kept switching back & forth between detours) they would have been able to get the hang of it...Meghan was having trouble with the golf but after a few rounds, she got the hang of it.
It must have been really cold doing the golf in their undies...after they had to swim, with all of that wind. Phil & the locals were all wearing jackets!
I thought for sure it would be a non-elimination when Phil met the girls at golf...it's hard to say they quit - they had given each task all that they had & couldn't do any more!
Both detours were tougher than usual...it wasn't just dance or just golf...since they had to ring the bell and then eat the herring during dance & they had to swim back & forth across a cold "river" in golf!

I think that Detour was completely unfair to the poker players......being the only team with 2 females........There was no way they were going to complete either detour.......especially The Game with the hammer.....they just don't have the strength to complete it.....where is all the men had no trouble at all........detours that are biased more towards men are unfair and shouldn't be in The Game........especially since they were the only all female team left......
