Sorry folks, this is gonna be short, and unsatisfying. Much like the episode we just watched. The tribes - Galu the Dominant and Foa-Foa the Feeble finally merge; otherwise we'd have another case of Ulong with just Russell joining the Galus and what would be the fun in doing that? After all we've all seen that before.
Much like all the agreement of Laura being the next voted out followed by her challenge win. Oh, no. What to do? Who will get voted out? Could it be RussHell? Should he play his HII? No wait, its someone we barely saw before and never cared about being voted out of the tribe. Big fat hairy deal. Not like its a player we have any affinity for... much like the Interchangable Girls on Galu. I mean seriously, we know precious few characters and the only reason to pretend it might be RussHell was to show why he bothered to play his HII. Of course, now both Idols are out of
The Game - and possibly up for grabs. At least RussHell knows being voted out with it in your pocket is embarrassing. He did, of course, feel the need to tell everyone that he found it without a clue.
After we see him scrambling around and showing it to everyone. Laura was the smartest of the people he told - from appearances - so it makes sense that he'd target her. Of course, winning immunity (her) put the kabosh on that plan for at least a while.
If something unexpected doesn't happen soon the editors will have to either rely on subterfuge or nudity/muffinry. Here's hoping it's the later. I hate it when they manufacture drama.
But what's the choice when nothing really interesting happens?
An episode like the last one. No one nearly dies. No one does anything extraordinary. At least we see RussHell continuing to give his confessionals from the same location as before the merge...hmmmm....methinks they're messing with the order of his confessionals to make the story more (a) clear (b) compelling (c) interesting (d) all of the above.
Frankly, I was bored. And being on a business trip gave me even less incentive to write this till now.
And I know what you're thinking - this summary was a waste of time. Well guess what? So was the episode. They merged (yawn). Someone we never cared about left (yawn). He might have been arrogant (yawn).
