Well, the WB has been hyping the hell out of Beauty and the Geek 2 these past few weeks in anticipation for its January 12 premiere. PLus, they are even airing the 6 episodes from the first season as "Geek Week" starting Monday January 2 (which is The MX Premiere Night!). How well do you think the premiere will do?

Well, the factors are:

Its coming out of a new Smallville (which is a sure 5 million +), and its not going up against a new episode of CSI.

The really only bad thing is that its going against new episodes of My Name Is Earl and The Office on NBC.

I think Smallville, which will be tremendously helped out in the ratings by 1) no survivor and 2) the adding of the live + same day ratings, will get around 5.5 to 6 million, and I think Beauty and the Geek 2 will get around 4.5 to 5 million. I think it will be a hit.

Last summer it averaged 3.95 million viewers and ended with 4.3 million and a 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49. It kept growing and got a good fanbase.

I think it will do really good. I will definitly be watching now that there is no Apprentice or Everwood on!

thanks for letting me know...I watched it in the summer (missed a few epis) because of the buzz it generated. Since it won't be on against Survivor, I'll watch it because I only have 2 vcr's and usually tape everything to watch later...

I think it will do better or the same as Everwood it won't do worst. I also think Smallville will go up with The O.C. moving to 9.
