I thought since the premiere is just 30 minutes away, we could start the thread for the new season of Beauty and the Geek 2. Discuss!

I didn't get to catch this tonight...does anyone know if they'll be rebroadcasting it?

I have it on tape...I can hopefully watch it tonight. I watched the "casting call" that was on Wed. night this morning...seems like it'll be a 2nd season that will live up to the 1st! I'll check back in after I watch the premiere!!!

Yes it seems definite that it lives up to the expecations of season 1! I think the season 2 premiere was as good as the first and maybe even better. The cast seems more put together and right than the first season. The girls, like eric27 said, are way hotter, and some of the guys are way geekier. That Brandon guy didnt seem that geeky.

Anyway, the ratings are in and it got 5 million viewers, a very good number. Cheers to Beauty and the Geek 2! We should have our own Beauty and the Geek 2 Forum! I think its proved itself.

This season seems to be more multiracial as compared to last.

Chris got booted off the show . Unfortunately, he took his sweet partner with him.

Starting with Week 1, I wanted the little vainglorious creep gone. He introduced himself to the girls by saying something about girls being b****es. I knew then he was not so much a geek as a jerk.


He and his original partner won the first challenge and Chris showed his a$$. He insulted everyone - even the geeks were his lesser academically, he felt. When it came time to choose which couple would be separated, surprise! His partner wanted to be rid of the jerk.


Because no one liked him and everyone resented them both for breaking up the original pairings, Chris, his new partner and his old partner and her new partner were always on the carpet. The old partner left first. On Chris' last show, the idiot tried to ingratiate himself with his 'speed' date by resorting again to denigrating another to build himself up.


He belittled his new partner's intelligence, or in his world, her lack of. He hurt her feelings and a flood of tears ensued when Dumbo lacked the words to apologize. Jerk! Jerk! Jerk!


It was then that I realized that of all the geeks, Chris needed to stay in that House the most. He was not only socially awkward, his feelings of insecurity made him socially unacceptable. The House was a lifeline to him. Of course, he then Lost the challenge and had to go. I felt sorry for his partner who only wanted to have fun , but even sorrier for Chris who is now on his inadequate own. Coming into the House, he blew it, made everyone gun for him. I hope he left it a better person.
