I loved the episode so much that I forgot that Mariska Hargitay was not in it. Where is she? On hiatus after her dad's death?

Mariska Hargitay is on maternity leave, so in the beginning they commented that she was undercover on a case. After last night's ep, the new gal has 5 more shows.
