It was on last night in my area....poor Mal Rogers (Irish guy) got booted by the judges last night. I thought he was really good....even after his brother sold his House and car to bring his brother to this show.....truth is he wasn't the worst singer last night....I thought Lance Miller was awful.....of course the best was fellow Canadian George Canyon.....I liked Jennifer Hicks who sang "Rose Garden". I think the audience pick to be voted off will be this week sometime....I have to check my listings....good show though.....I am not sure I like the guy with the red cap and overalls anymore....his "comedy" act is starting to where thin.......I think the judges are noticing that too......they made comments last night......I like this show.....thank goodness there is nothing but reruns and NCAA basketball.....I would have missed this....

I was much more surprised by Stacey Michelle being booted by the audience, I thought she had talent and I wanted her to make it further!! And Yes, Lance Miller should be next! he was awful!!

In my personal opinion it should be jennifer hicks and brad Cotter. There performances were very boring!!

Also I enjoyed many of the original songs, and there is definitely some talent in the group!!

Did we watch the same show? I think Brad's song was definitely the best, and the most professional/marketable.

I would say that Sheila might be gone - the judges keep bashing her.

Lance is safe - his song about beer was a crowd favorite I think.

THe originals really showed much more of the contestants' personalities - and the show with Montgomerey Gentry looked like a lot of fun.

I think one of the girls is gone...but they are booting 2 due to phone problems last week.....I think the other is the guy with the overalls and red cap.....Lance's song about the beer was funnier and better written....JMHO

Jennifer's original song was awesome so I think she's safe for now.....and what can you say about George Canyon.....he is Canadian and he rocks.....he even has a good country singing name....the best!!
