Every week when I watch this show, I just thank the Lord that I don't have a boss like Michael (or even know anyone like him)...
I have to rewatch it because I was falling asleep during the show I missed some of the stuff between Pam & Andy...was Jim telling Andy true things about what Pam likes or just making stuff up?!
Pam knew almost immediately, from the list of things Andy was citing, what was going on. I realize they fabricated the whole thing with Jim telling Pam he was seeing someone else to keep the interest up, but it's really pretty stupid.

After reading your post, I figured out why I didn't like The Office as much as usual this week. I think by merging the Stamford & Scranton offices, they have too many characters on the show. I was just finally figuring out who everyone is in the Scranton office and all their quirks. We were introduced to a few of the Stamford people before (Karen, Andy and the boss) but now that the 2 offices merged all of these other Stamford people are there...i.e. the breastfeeding mom that dresses her boy in pink, the "criminal", the "fat guy" from last episode etc. I think they need to get rid of some of the characters or just focus on one or 2 per episode so it isn't so confusing/overwhelming. They are trying to cram a lot of characters into a half hour. That said, I still love the show!

I never noticed this! I must not have been paying close enough attention.
And I call myself a fan?
She brought her baby to The Office wearing pink, Pam (I think) commented what a cute baby girl. The lady got huffy and said it's a boy...he prefers to wear pink! Is this on NBC's website!

I should re-watch -- totally missed it. I guess that's what I get for trying to do too many things at once!!

i know what you mean...there are just a few shows that I have to watch while doing nothing else...otherwise, I miss important details!
LNM there are a lot of characters...for now. Don't you notice a trend in the show? First weeek the fat guy left, now the criminal guy left, most likely the breast feeding mom will leave next week. Then the only two new characters will be Andy and the other new chick (Jan? lol idk). At least that's what I think will happen.

I totally think that is what is going to happen as well. When the fat guy left and then the criminal guy left I was thinking to myself, okay so everyone but Andy and Karen are going to leave...unless Jim and Karen breakup and then she leaves because of that. I think adding only two characters will not be bad, as it will not be as hard to remember, becuase all the other older characters are so good we do want to make sure we have time for them!!!
We're back to the good old Office....here's why I say this:
1. Not only was the show funny (laugh out loud funny!), but there were some touching moments -- that plain sitcoms overlook (or avoid) -- the last scene with Michael and Jim would be an example, or Angela and Dwight at Angela's "party...I could go on.
2. Pam and Jim are back to the pranks....destroy the phone. Boy, when Dwight catches on (ok, if he catches on) there's going to be some heavy payback.
3. The new employees are starting to become part of the "team".
4. Inside jokes are back....Oscar coming in during the Chrsitmas party and just turning around!
And most promising....
5. Jim and Pam have finally learned their lesson and it seems to me that they realize what they've been avoiding.
Classic The Office. The full hour was a nice bonus too! With this and HIMYM, I'm set with comedies.
