Here's some scenarios I came up with for fall - a mix of what I think will happen and what I think should happen. With a few exceptions, I've gone with categories of the type of comedy/drama I think will be in a certain slot as opposed to picking specific pilots (so difficult when you haven't seen them).
FOXI think I struggled the most with FOX's due to Idol, wondering if it should stay Tues-Wed or go Wed-Thurs. Ultimately I decided to stay Tues-Wed, though falls successes/failures could change that.

COMEDY A LIST: Possible returnees The Winner & The War at Home; Pilots: Hackett, The Life & Times of Tim, Animals, Me & Lee, Playing Chicken, Two Dreadful Children, The Beast, Untitled Rob Roy, Skyler's Revolution
NOTE: Ive always thought FOX should split up its comedies and move a few to a different night, especially if

WINTER 8: DRAMA A/

9: 24
DRAMA A LIST: Them, The Sarah Conner Chronicles, Company Man
NOTE:
Prison Break used to help launch a new show, with Drive a potential spoiler if it does well.
FALL TUES 8: DRAMA B

American Idol9:

NOTE:
House will likely do about three episodes at 8 before moving to 9, as it did with Standoff.
FALL WED 8: Action News
8:30: COMEDY B
9:

WINTER 8: Action News

Til Death9: Idol results
9:30 COMEDY B
COMEDY B LIST: The Return of Jezebel James, The Rules for Starting Over, The Minister of Divine, The Hot Years, Revenge, Two Families, Untitled Fuller & Young, Untitled Victor Fresno
NOTE: I may have Action News and
Til Death flipped, but I think these will be the two anchors until Idol returns. Though I was initially reluctant to move Bones [and also think it's possible this will end up on Mondays with
Prison Break to Thursdays], it's clear that FOX is aggressively pursuing mainstream comedies. With Action News already committed to and many other comedy pilots ordered, but NBC comedies on Thursdays and CBS comedies on Mondays, that left Tues or Wed.
House is too big to move, so Bones gets the challenge.
THURS 8: Bones
9: DRAMA C
DRAMA C List: K-Ville, The Apostles, New Amsterdam
NOTE: Though it would be difficult to launch a new drama, I would expect FOX to pick something similar to Bones in tone or in the same genre if they do - which is tought against CSI, so perhaps not.
FALL FRI 8:
King of the Hill 8:30: COMEDY A [War at Home or Winner most likely]
9: Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?
WINTER: The comedies, unless successful here, move back to Sundays post-football or to hiatusville. If one of the dramas tanks, especially whatever ends up on Thursdays at 9, 5th Grader could easily move to that slot, or it might stay here. Shows displaced by Idol could end up here, or Trading Spouses/Nanny 911 could return.
Saturday remains the same with
Cops, AMW,

By the way, if any network execs or magazine/newspaper/Internet editors like my intuition and insight, I'm looking for a new job with the communications degree and writing experience to back it up. And if you don't like my ideas, well, we're all entitled to our opinions and a small-market commercial copywriter I will remain.
