Sneak peek at next season: Survivor China. Inland, in the mountains, with a lake nearby for water. Yay, no islands!!!!!
Obviously, the original news about China was right about the show being filmed on the mainland and Jeff Probst was just spewing BS when he talked about a group of islands just off the south coast. I'm glad because mainland China sounds cool and will be a nice change. I feel it is absolutely necessary to leave the island setting every few seasons.

What started off as a very slow and boring installment, evolved into an incredible, exciting & shocking season. Firstly, I wanted Yau-Man to win from day one. He was thinking right from the get-go. He was sneaky - (looking into Sylvia's bag when she returned from Exile Island), loyal - (his friendship with Earl, sharing the idol, giving him the clues to find the "re-hidden" idol)& smart/athletic - (he was a key contributor in winning group challenges, won 2 individual immunity challenges). Secondly, I'm happy at the turn of events ... only because the final tribal council was AMAZING. Not only did Dreamz get ripped apart (which I expected), but Cassandra was equally & deservedly, s**t on. She should have behaved like Becky (S13 - Cook Islands), if she was a little articulate & eloquent (even though Becky got zero votes) and not defensive & combative, perhaps Alex would have felt like a s**t for being so nasty and thus the others that followed (Lisi, Rocky) would have given her some respect for her solid gamesmanship - aka riding Earl's coattails. Side Note: So many players(Ed, Mookie, Stacy, Boo, Yau)ignored Cassandra (at tribal council)and those that addressed her simply lambasted her (except Michelle). And finally, the best, Earl was enjoying every minute of Dreamz's & Cassandra's humiliation. As far as what Dreamz did, it's a game - to betray someone -whether it be a player, or your son (as Jeff Probst would make you believe), or your God (as Boo would make you beileve) -- it's about a million dollars --- so perhaps I can understand. However, he should return the car/truck to Yau, because he truly "jacked" him.

bitter....bitter.....BITTER jury!
(A few were not....but the stupidest players were bitter)
Yes but when they are bitter it makes for a more entertaining and real TC. When we see them doing interviews and such after they have been voted off it is months later and they have had time to calm down and realize it's a game. But at final TC they are still in The Game and it's better that they get that bitterness out than stand there and ask stupid lame questions and act all nicey nicey. I when they do that during the questions because they are just making themselves look dumb not the final 3.

Yes, move on Jeff. No matter what Dreamz says, it is obvious by his interviews that he was not planning to go back on his word from the time of the deal. Why Dreamz keeps saying that is beyond me!
But Dre WAS planning to go back on the deal from the time he made it....
No, I really don't think so. He could have said so in his private interviews, but he always talked about keeping his word to Yau. You can tell the truth in those interviews cause the other tribemates don't know.
Dre said tonight that he was planning on keeping the immunity all along, and that he told Cass his plan after that challenge. If I had to guess, since I wasn't there, I'd say those confessions were just to try to convince people that he HADN'T planned to backstab Yau all along.
But that's just my guess...I can't figure out what goes on in his head.
But do you really believe Dre? I don't. I think when he made the deal 1. he did plan on giving Yau the necklace and 2. didn't really comprehend what he got himself into. I also think that he told everyone a TC and at the reunion that he had planned it all along to try to make himself look better. Like see I was stragizing all along. He thought at TC that he could talk his way out of the deal by saying that he never planned on giving up the necklace in the first place but I don't believe him, but tht is my opinion.

I actually enjoy a bitter jury for the entertainment value, but I don't enjoy someone yelling SHUT UP every time someone tries to answer their question!
I didn't care that Alex was bitter. What pissed me off about his speech is that he kept bashing Cassandra, telling her he wanted an answer and then WOULDN'T LET HER SPEAK!!! What's the point? It just made Alex look like a bigger ass.
Also, if you're going to grill someone, know your facts: Alex accused Cassandra of backstabbing Stacy, just bringing her along, using her for her vote and getting rid of her when she was no longer needed. Um, Cassandra didn't get rid of Stacy...she voted Yau at that TC (you were there Alex!) but Stacy fell victim to Earl and Yau voting against her and the idol being used to save Yau.
So, if you're going to be bitter, at least get your facts straight.

I picked up on that too and was quite disgusted that Cassandra didn't mount ANY defense or even offense at final tribal. Was she even playing to win? From her opening remarks of "I wanted to make friends and join alliances" to her inability to defend herself to anyone, any votes she could have garnered were Lost.
And Dreamz was given two chances in jury questioning (by Boo and Yau) to own up to his change of heart and his outright refusal to own it Lost him his shot at winning over any jury members (he could possibly have swayed Boo and Rocky if he'd just come clean).
Earl didn't even need to work for that win...Cassandra and Dreamz did enough --or more accurately, DIDN'T do enough-- to ensure his victory.

You make a good point. I didn't catch it, but you're right. I don't know how Cassandra could have explained herself they way he was telling her to shut-up, but she sure had a good excuse.
On his last day when Alex was alone and she approached him to be nice and talk to him, I cynically thought she was buttering up a future jury member by doing that. Well.... if she was, it certainly didn't earn her any points!
