Unless the ratings pick up in the fall, I really think that this installment will be the last edition. So, I guess to end with another All-Stars isn't too bad?? As long as JP is a part of it!!!!

Seriously, how bad were the ratings? I mean it beats a lot of other crap on TV.

survivor will go on for a very long time to come...sorry but it is still one of cbs' biggest shows...if the ratings were to tank i could see the show going to the summer b4 death...sorry but this show is a keeper.

I'm kind of excited by this...but I don't think that they should limit it to just season's 9 - 15...there are still some interesting characters that didn't get to be on All-Stars the first time around...I'm glad that no winners will be on!
I think they should have Survivor 1st boot...then it would give all those 1st bootees that we didn't get to know a chance...plus, if they include Wanda & Jonathan that never even GOT to play, you would have your 16 (right?)

Yeah, but look at Boston Rob (of romber fame). During his first time on Survivor he was lazy and annoying. On All-Stars he kicked it up and was a major player. He played The Game totally different. You can never tell.

I would also like to think that Angie, Rafe, Parvati, and Candise would be on a short list. After Amber was on the original All-Stars, I think everyone should be considered.

Both Coby and Brandon were the ‘narrators’ for their season and would be good candidates.
I expect it will be like All Stars 1 with three tribes to split up the players from each season and no more than 3 (or maybe 4) from a single season. Since some players won’t want to do it again or will drop out in the process, they will probably have to invite 4 or 5 from each season then cast from there.
The casting calls, applications, etc. could be a way to deter attention away from All-Stars 2, and CBS could just add them in with the S17 applications.

I remain very skeptical.
There is no credit given for where that news blurb came from, and there is only one article regarding “gossip” with someone “who knows loads of survivors”
No one liked All Stars 1. Was it 3 or 4 people who quit outright and how many of the others didn’t even really try.? The general opinion is that The Game just doesn’t work for people who know each other.

I believe only Morasca and Sue Hawk quit. And I liked All-Stars... was fun to watch Boston Rob make mincemeat out of the others. I agree The Game works better with players who don't know each other, but I'll still gladly watch an All-Stars 2 season.
Ya think they woulda learned the first time . . . . .
