I think Dale had 2 of the 4 "best" dishes at the finale meal according to the judges commentary DURING the meal.

Dale and Hung cooked as themselves. Casey found some things lacking.

The judge's call 2 of Dale's dishes " a triumph." Not so good on the lobster and gnocchi dish.

Casey has a load of excuses. Salmon roe ruined her foie gras. She claims the prawns were too big for the plate. She complains about the adding of the fourth dish. Her pork belly is dried out. Howie cooked her dish the judges liked.

Hung liked his first course. Judges wanted more acid. Gail calls the rice bland and need of more acid. Foie gras was 3-star Michelin. Judges call Hung on his decision to play it safe with the dessert.

Dale's lobster is hurting him while respect given to consistency by Hung.

The ambition of Dale's Colorado Lamb is winning kudos while Hung's Duck is the winning dish. The judges are having a difficult time, but they've made their decision.
