too bad casey faltered under the pressure, and her excuses might have hurt her chances.

Casey was a bit of a mess during and after the last challenge. Dale came on strong at the end, but a "bad" dish hurt him. Hung had a top dish and the others were good. I think Hung deserved to win. He can be a jerk sometimes, but you can't question his cooking skills and that's what the competition is about.

Agreed. The best chef won. Congrats to Hung!

Is this the season of the villain on reality TV? First Dick on Big Brother, now Hung (I know Hung isn't in the same vile league as Dick, just that they were both their shows' villain). So I guess Dave is going to win Survivor?

Dale's from Chicago. Classic misdirection or straight on clue?

I wasn't fooled!...

...because a few weeks ago in TV Guide there was an article about the next season being filmed...in Chicago!

Dale as a guest judge, anyone?

Just got finished watching tonights episode. I was hoping for a Dale win but I can be satisfied with Hung. Casey did not do well in this challenge. I wonder if the altitude affected her. She mentioned at the beginning it was hard for her to catch her breath but she did make a lot of excuses. I still would love to sit at one of these tables at a challenge and just taste these dishes. Heck, there are foods there I don't even know existed! Next week the reunion! We get to see Tre and CJ and what they are doing now, I hope!

Agreed...he was the best chef...but had the worst attitude...so for me....the best "person" didn't win.....should have been Dale or Casey......

Wow I can't believe how nerves got the best of Casey like that.

For me Dale was never in the running, because couldn't stand half of his dishes through the whole season & to me he just got lucky that others screwed up worse than him.

Wasn't exactly excited about Hung winning, but he deserved it.

I was glad Hung won. I know he had a few cases of being arrogant towards the judges. I guess he needs to work on taking criticsm....it has to be hard since food is subjective.

Hung was never mean to the others...he never said anything bad about anyone in confessionals. I think the other chefs get jealous of the really good chefs who are all about the food and aren't necessarily there to make friends & demonize them. It has happened every season...& esp. with Marcel last season.

I watched the reunion show last night and it was fun. The thing I disliked about Hung was he was never shown helping the others. You saw the other chefs help with plating and so forth but Hung was always shown standing around and watching. They did mention that he probably wouldn't win American's choice. I was very surprised to hear the judging took so long, the judges would debate for hours and hours before coming to a decision and the chefs had to remain in the "stew room" that entire time.

They did discuss the decision to cut Tre as it was noted many viewers were upset with that. Even Tre agreed that you make a bad dish and you are gone no matter what has happened before. The same think with CJ. It was a great show to see everyone so happy and laughing.

Oh and America's choice and winner of the $10,000......

not Tre

not CJ

it was Casey!

Can't say I agree with that decision but I didn't vote.
