I never watched this show up until a couple weeks ago, but I notice in just about every episode one of the judges gets pi$$ed and walks out. Is this for real?
If so, this is one of the more dysfunctional shows on TV .

String, I tried it and just can't sit through it. Some of the so called talent just plain sucks. I quit watching.

It is like any other talent show in that we have to watch the good and the bad.
it is unlike anyother talent show because it isnt just singing or just dancing or any one thing.

I now have it on in the background. Better now that some of them are pretty good.

I have decided that a tossup is in order between the 14 year old singer and the ventriloquist. She is very good compared to the others, but he is awesome. Everyone else is third on down, in any order.
I wouldn't buy her cd, because I don't buy any cd's, but I would pay to see a good hour show by this guy.
The beatboxer, (whatever that is) should just try singing. I think she has a respectable voice behind the other.
The guys on stilts are a good 15 minute take, then what?
The guy who thinks he's "enteretaining" the people ought to catch his act some night. He came out last night with a gang of girls, and still wasn't any good.
The Jamaican (South Jersey probably)tumblers were another 15 minute act.

These people have to realize, they have to have more than one 15 minute act.

Oh well, we are down to ten now, so I hope they pick the good ones.

Are you talking about "Boy Shakira"? That dude can't dance! I haven't watched the show regularly, so I hadn't seen him since he was 1st on there--I think Sharon Osbourne and the British dude voted for him mostly to piss off Hasselhoff--but then as Britney he also sucked!

To Barbie--I sort of agree w/ you about the quality of the earlier acts. I saw the audition episodes, and I think they spent too much time showing the sucky acts that didn't make it, and then only "highlights" of some of the ones that did. What's that about?

Reminds me of Idol and I don't watch Idol until it's down to 12 and then not every week. To many Reality Shows. No rush, but I enjoy fall shows. I will enjoy summer and then get ready for some good fall shows.

As all of you know, on American Idol, you have to be in your 20's or 30's to be on there. So, I was wondering....

Is there any age limit on getting on "America's Got Talent"???

Does anybody know??

Linda

Well Anonymous, I think that America has the ability to turn out another Susan Boyle, so here's hoping. Gotta show 'em up smile

I saw a video recently that is actually a few of the America's Got Talent people doing a stealth performance at the Mall of America. Can show you the age range, talent range, variety of acts that the show puts out...oh and it's set to Hall & Oates which I immediately enjoyed: You Make My Dreams Come True

The commercials are nauseating me.

Why does "talent" have to be displayed with saccharin stories and mind-numbingly schmaltzy song selections.

Blech. barfsmiley

Wish they had some decent talent, it would help me get excited that it's almost back. Tonight I saw a 62 year lady, in a commercial. Now I can't figure out what she would do after her one looney dance. scared I'm trying to be nice, but I'll have to skip the auditions. That's what I did last season, and enjoyed the ventriloquist. Can't remember his name, or I would google him to see how he is doing!

Had to google Tarry Fator...and yes 100 million dollars for a 5 year contract with an option to extend another five years making the entire deal worth over $200 million.

Good for him... clap

lolup you all are so funny! smile

Terry is that good, in my opinion. He's like a really good comedian, impersonator, singer all rolled into a guy who plays with dolls. clap
I'd love to see his whole act. Watching him for 90 mins. would be great.

This year they actually have a really decent magician who I think Hasselhoff says could go very far this year. I like seeing these kind of "different" acts.

This year's show sucks. Last night was not an entertaining show at all. Wish they would go back to the way it was before. Oh and it won't be entertaining tonight either as they're still sending people home.

Why didn't the Indian-American dance group, Ishaara, get through? They were good. Better than the percussion group, IMO.

My favorites are Kevin Skinner and Grandma Lee. But there are many others I like too.

I am just glad there is more diversity in the acts. not so many singers. I hope another kind of act wins.

The dancer kid let the cat out of the bag. When Pierce put him down he started to complain that he didn't want to do High School Musical but was forced to by the Producers. Pierce and Sharon jumped in quick to quiet him down. They didn't want viewers to know that the Producers pick the songs, choreograpghy, even what the contestants wear. And the contestants have NO say in it. It's a pity. Reality it isn't.
