was hilarious and touching...simply a great show...the guitar hostage thing had me laughing out loud...I sort of knew where the switched victim thing was going but it made not one whit of difference...Hugh you are brilliant.

I thought last night's show was very well done with the students being whittled down. I hope at least a couple of them become full-time characters, especially that older guy, #26. He was good.

At income tax time, did you ever notice: When you put the two words 'The' and 'IRS' together it spells... 'THEIRS'?

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if Chase and the others will stay in their new jobs and House will have a new team. I also hope they keep number 26.

I think he will be keeping # 26, the dark haired guy that was showed quite a bit. I have seen him on another show but can't remember which one and then the woman doc from the er that was on last week.

As for Cameron - working the ER wouldn't have been a step down from what she was doing before?

I would love for House to have a new team. I really started to dislike Chase, Cameron & Foreman. Their hatred for House was becoming too distracting, imo. I would have fired them long ago for insubordination!

I would like House's new team to be Kal Penn (#6 who was fired & came back as #9), the blonde girl who was getting the others to leave, and the black guy. The old guy can stay on too, as House's assistant.

Could someone please get the producers to get on my casting changes ASAP?

Oh yeah, what was the meaning of "Tesla was robbed" written on the blackboard? I know Tesla is the name of a band, but I didn't get the meaning of the graffiti.

Good news. They are keeping 3 of the new people as new cast members. I just read it in the paper. They had planned on adding 2 but decided on 3, I am assuming one is #26 as well as the girl. I will get you the actors names later.

If you've seen Stargate SG-1 he was Sam's father/Selmak, if you haven't you may recognize something from his filmography. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0034492/

Tesla probably refers to Nikola Tesla, who was not awarded $50,000 that was promised to him by Thomas Edison. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla Awarded the patent for radio first, the USPTO later reversed its decision and gave the patent to Marconi. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla#Later_years

Tesla spent many years fighting the patent decision. He eventually won but it cost him a lot of money and several years. This and other things, I'm sure, caused him to go in to debt and he had to sell his patents to pay them off. Even doing this he died penniless and in debt.

I had already heard Kal Penn was hired as a regular and was trying my best to avoid the other two until actually seeing the episode, and this week's TV Guide totally spoiled that for me.

They need to put in Spoiler Warnings for stuff like that. That's also why I'd avoided this thread until now.

This has been out a week now but did you all see it? There's a chance Cutthroat B***h could come back in some capacity... (perhaps depending on the strike):

Also what do you think of the new people? Has the cast gotten too big for the type of storylines we see on House? Or is this a welcome shake-up?

I thought I would miss the old cast but I don't. They could get rid of them and I would not really miss them. I like the new cast and the shake up. House can get his guard back up and we can watch it get broken down slowly as these new people get to know him and stand up to him.

I agree. I wish they WOULD get rid of the old cast. The new people are much more interesting and not so bitter against House.
