Depending on where it falls on the timeline, it could stand for Day Before Disappearance......I dunno.......just taking a stab in the dark.... 
Yeah that's what it is. It will have like 3 DBD (3 days before disappearance) and the next one under that has 2 DBD, etc.
I have been missing this the last few weeks as one of our local stations stopped showing it but the ohter one is picking it up so thats good. It is on so so late on my CBS station that I couldn't stay awake.
But Sam having a baby!!!!  Wow didn't see that coming, although I do remember the show where she threw that guy out when she had to go to work but I can't remember who it was either. darn!!!

Yes, Sam is cold, but I think she is going to have a hard time depending on the father. We have to wait and see....

There was an article in this week's TV Guide about this, and Poppy indicatd that she definitely wants Sam to soften her image now that she will have a child and that she can start being girlfriends with Viv and Elena outside the job.
I think that in their line of business they ALL have a coldness imbedded in their personality. None of them seem to have a healthy relationship. I know my job is extremely stressful and unfortunately, I bring it home with me at times...which is not good. So I can't imagine how hard it would be to develop and maintain a healthy relationship for this team, dealing with the constant 'bad endings' that Jack and his team deal with.
Their jobs seem to require them to not become emotionally involved in the cases, and while we may see that as coldhearted, I would liken it more to self-preservation. Which may, ultimately, carry over into their personal lives.
It appears that most cases are at least 24 hours long. That, in and of itself would be enough for anyone to shut down emotionally.
