Did any of you check it out?

I really liked it, and I don't know why FOX didn't like it to begin with. However knowing them they probably won't give it much of a chance.

I like that its not vampirey too. Don't get me wrong I love vampires, but I like the whole finding a soul mate rather than finding your soul storyline.

I know what you mean....something about the show is not clicking with me either. Watched last night. So the doc is married. Why is he still asking her out next week? The son being older than him is kind of wierd, too. I like the partner. Not sure what is wrong with this show, but I will keep watching as long as nothing else is on.

I'm still liking it so far.

I'm thinking he has the wrong girl, and its partner. She looks like she could be Indian descent in her so wouldn't she be more likely a match for him?

I think there's more chemistry with the partner, too! The doctor isn't doing it for me.

I actually like the son being older, I wish they'd explain about the kids better. WE know he had a daughter in the past, and he said he had a son that died at age 5. I also wonder why he married all thse women if he was told he'd feel something when he found 'the one'.

They also need to not have something in his past that mirrors each murder. That's going to seem contrived soon, and not feel real.

It has a few minor flaws, but the second and third episodes were much better...very enjoyable.

I agree about the partner. I'll bet she will end up being "the one" as the series goes on.

That was the feeling I had. I enjoy the odd shows like this but it didn't catch my interest in the first episode. The flashbacks are fine but I am in agreement that those can get old quickly. Now I liked the episode with the vet and the flashback to the civil war adn his failure there to see beyond the physical. That episode worked for me. I'm not so enthralled with the "one" storyline. Why always give these caveats of true love? He lives until he dies. That's it. No anguish over being alive, just enjoying the time given. Oh well, I probably will watch a few more episodes when I am home and nothing else to do...like clean House or study.

I've been watching for the past few weeks, and this is such a cool and addictive show! I thought it was brilliant in the first episode to have the pictures of times square changing through time with photos from that really old camera. I thought that was brilliant! The lead is cast perfectly, and hopefully this will make him a breakout star! What a great show FOX has and I hope it gets saved!

I personally would say that his son is older, but hasn't lived as long - as his dad has just remained the same age. John Amsterdam would probably say that he's older than his son though

I'm hoping it does nicely out of Bones for its finale and earns a season two
