I saw a commercial for it during The Middleman...I think it looks really good and apparently is by the same producer as 7th heaven.. It looks like its got a lot of similarities to it but the main girl is a pregnant teen so it seems like it will be a lot edgier..

I'm not sure about it but I'll probably watch since it's from the creator of 7th Heaven.

Yeah i loved 7th heaven but i think the teen pregnancy thing adds a lot of relevancy to the show.. did yall see that thing on the news today about those teenage girls getting pregnant on purpose? i saw it on the Today show and then again on the local news...crazy.

Also, im sure you already realized but Molly Ringwald is the mom in it! ha, i love her!

It was on my local new but I fell asleep before it came on what did they do?

There was a huge spike in pregnancy at this high school and school officials looked into it and apparently a bunch of girls had made a "pregnancy pact" and were getting pregnant on purpose.. Heres an article on it if you wanna check it out... It just seems like with all the young celebrities getting pregnant and stories like these, teen pregnancy is all over the news... It will make watching this show very interesting, especially since it seems like they'll handle the subject very realistically whereas movies like Juno kind of glamorize teen pregnancy

I found it to be a bit preachy, and so much use of the word "sex" in the first episode alone! Gees! Typical Brenda Hampton preachiness....like 7th Heaven.

That said, I'll still continue to watch.

yeah, me too, at times. The red-head friend is funny. I just found it to be too after-school special, throwing sex in our faces. jmo

I really liked it.. I didnt find it too "preachy" at all...i thought it was pretty realistic.

I agree that the red haired friend is funny but i think the most inriguing character is probably Ricky. I liked how they revealed some stuff about his past at the end of the episode... I'm looking forward to tonight, I like that there are lots of characters and storylines going on, makes it really fun to watch..

Yeah i agree, i think the conversation when she finally tells her parents will be really good for teens to watch.. Not just to learn specifaclly how to tell their parents they are pregnant, just how to broach awkward subjects in general...

I liked the episode tuesday alot... I thought she and ben were really cute and i thought the sister did really well... My question is: how do you think Ricky will take it when he finds out hes the dad?

Yeah thats a good thought but then she would have to tell Ben obviously and do you think he would go along with that? I mean he's a good guy and everything but taking the responsibility for that would be a lot to ask of him...

This show is really goood I can't wait until next week. She tells her mom and her mom was a pregnant teen too. I was shocked when we found out about who Adrianes mom was sleeping with.

I really want Ben and Amy to get married.

I really think its great that this doesn't glorify teenage pregnancy but it doesn't shove abstanice down your thoart either

One of the spolier is so funny that I hope its true

There are soo many rumors flying around about next season. Did anyone else hear that a main character is supposed to die pretty early into the season?? I've been re-watching the promo clip trying to see if I can tell who it is...totally clueless at this point. Any theories out there?

hmm well I'm gonna wait and see for myself. I think the characters are actually pretty well rounded. Like Amy and her family for instance - they do a great job of showing how hard a break-up can be on kids and Amy's sister Ashley has such a strong & unique personality, can't wait to see her in the new episodes. She seems to know way more than even the adults at times, you know?

I personally try to stay clear of a lot of spoilers...the OMG moments are just too good, don't want to ruin the surprise.
BUT I did stumble upon this bit of info in a recap of episode 2. Pertains to Ben and Amy's relationship.

Plus Leo and Betty - I don't see that going smoothly at all!! Anyone else thinking that her former "career" will be an issue??
