clap Without a doubt one of the best shows going! I liked it better with Gideon on, was sorry to see him go but it's still one of my top 3 shows on (with the exception of the re-run's frown I usually tape anything I'm interested in seeing, to avoid the 20 minutes of those dang commercial's rant

You do realize that the broadcast networks can air shows like Criminal Minds for free because of those commercials, right? confused

Love your enthusiasm for the show, it's just a pet peeve of mine when people don't realize that commercials aren't there as an inconvenience... they are a necessity that people need to watch in order to get free TV

Putting that all aside though, welcome to Zap!

i love the show as well, its in my top 3 too of preferred shows, and also i preferred Gideon.

"Gideon" was ok, but what is with that Mandy Patinkan (SP?)? He starts with a show and then leaves.... he's done it before, I think it was Chicago Hope.
I actually LOVE Joe Mantegna. He was great in "Baby's Day Out" and as "Spencer"... I watch almost anything to see him.

Pantinkin seems to only be good for about two years in a series before he wants to move on. Though his name never came up as a reason, I've wondered if the cancellation of Dead Like Me had anything to do with not being able to sign Pantinkin for a third season.

Only the small percentage of customers who use antennas get that programming for free. Cable and satellite companies have to pay the networks to carry their signal, which gets figured into the cost of the bill. I'll refrain from starting a rant, here, as I'm not trying to derail the thread. smile

I don't know where you live to get free TV, (unless you have the rabbit ears) but I have to pay for every program I watch. (it's in the form of cable or satellite bills).
